Mark Durden-Smith is one of Britain’s most versatile presenters.
Mark is the host of ITV1’s ground breaking new gameshow ‘Freeze Out’. Following his regular Aviva Premiership Rugby anchor duties Mark was one of ITV’s main hosts for the Rugby World Cup 2015. He previously hosted Sky Sports Centre and fronted Sky’s BAFTA winning rugby coverage.
Mark has presented ITV’s flagship show ‘This Morning’, teaming up with Kate Thornton and Myleene Klass and has also been a regular newspaper pundit on Lorraine Kelly’s sofa for ITV’s Lorraine. He is a regular guest presenter for ‘The Breakfast Show’ on BBC London Radio alongside Gaby Roslin.
Mark was the anchor for the launch of ‘RI:SE’ Channel 4’s breakfast show and he has presented several series of ITV2’s ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now’, ‘The Underdog Show’ with Tara Palmer-Tomkinson on LIVING and Gutted on Home.
Mark hosted ITV1’s holiday series ‘Wish You Were Here – Now and Then’ and has also fronted ITV1’s Boat Race coverage which was nominated for a Broadcast Award.
Other presenting credits include; three series of ‘The Match’ with Zoe Ball (Sky One), ‘Millionaire Manor’ the ‘National Lottery Show’ (BBC1), two series of ITV2’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen Extra Portions’ and ‘Package Holidays Undercover’ (ITV 1).
Mark’s writing credits include a regular column for Metro Newspapers as the ‘Voice of O2’ for the England rugby team at the Rugby World Cup.
Mark started his career at GLR and BBC regional newsrooms before becoming a researcher for ‘Saturday Night Clive’ and ‘Clive Anderson Talks Back’.
Mark has hosted a variety of events with great success. His charisma, enthusiasm and competence as host and facilitator have impressed and delighted a variety of corporate clients, many of whom continue to invite him back year after year. He has been the live host for the prestigious Police Bravery Awards for eight years running.
